Pure Pickleball Launches Summer Events, Festivals & Telford Prep

It has felt like summer for several weeks now, but this Friday school ends for the academic year and Pure’s Summer Holiday Season kicks off!

Today we have published the ‘standard’ August sessions - including the Singles Series, Pure Premier League and Pure Championship League.

If you are looking to enter the Pure Premier League for August, please reach out to Chris who will confirm whether you are eligible and give you the booking code.

We are also happy to announce the School’s Out for Summer Festival and Cheshire Open tournament - both below.

Tomorrow, we’ll be emailing out the exciting added extras that will be on the schedule for the Summer Holiday season - including some 5-day workshops that will get you to 3.0 level or 3.5 level (almost guaranteed by Chris), a pre-English Open day for pairs to get some final practice in before the big event, more festivals and some early afternoon sessions during the week.

Other things to look out for: Sunday 20th sees the Pure Pickleball Pythons make their Premier League debut at the Corby Tennis Centre. We are playing the Pickleball Store and Skechers (led by leading English player Thaddea Lock) - please wish Val Vladea, Gracie Hamilton, Rachel McCrae, James Lofthouse, Jack MacGregor and Pete Hitchman (being led by the England European Championship winning coach Sam Basford) the very best of luck on court and follow the event on the day. We will keep you up-to-date via socials of where you can watch live streams etc!

This will be your last chance to practice as a pair before Telford!

The English Open is the biggest tournament in the WORLD outside of the US! Does that make you nervous? Well, we can help you with that…

Nerves can be good - but there will be fewer of them if you and your Telford partner book on our Final Dinks Before The Open Festival Day on Sunday 3rd August.

It will be a day of organised matchplay where you can test yourselves, practice new ideas and tactics and all kinds of wonderful things against other pairs in the same position as you.

Head Coach Chris Beaumont (he won some medals at the Open last year, has he mentioned that yet?) will be on hand to help you with any questions, give advice if asked and anything else needed so that you can hit the biggest show in town ready for battle.

You can book on this below - there’s only limited space!

And after the Open there are going to be two groups of people!

The first group will hear all the amazing stories from Telford and think “I wish I was good enough/brave enough/anything enough to have entered”.

The second group will come back going “I loved that - now I want to be even better!”

Well, we have two awesome workshops for you coming up.

Our 3.0 in 5 Workshop is designed to take any player from beginner level to being able to confidently enter any tournament at the entry 3.0 level in just 5 days.

And for those who have already played at a 3.0 level, our 3.5 in 5 Workshop is designed to move you up to the next level in 5 days too.

We are running both of these workshops twice - there are morning and afternoon options for both and you can book them below.
